Developed for the canning industry; hearty tomato flavor and meaty texture. Bright red fruit with a small seed cavity and good color throughout, good for slicing or canning. Widely adapted and crack resistant. Developed in 1934 by Rutgers University in cooperation with Campbell's Soup for the New Jersey canning industry.
